Tonight was mainly a debugging night. We unpacked from the competition on Saturday, and we were going over the entire robot, making sure everything is in working order. We began looking into easy improvements we could make, based off of some ideas we saw at the competition.
Our side motor wasn’t working correctly, so Wiley was able to correctly debug the problem, and fix it. Everyone also wanted to practice driving with the one-person control system, which proved to be effective, but not quite as efficient as having two people, each with their dedicated tasks.
We have Thanksgiving this Thursday, so we won’t be meeting. However, Julia, one of our graduated members, will be back from college, and she has many years of experience, and she is looking forward to helping us get some of the ideas rolling on all of our robots.
